Ukraine to Receive 100 Similar Tanks as Denmark Begins Deliveries in Spring
The Ukrainian military is set to acquire a batch of 100 tanks similar to the Leopard 1. The announcement was made by Troels Lund Poulsen, the interim leader of the Danish Ministry of Defense, during his visit to Ukraine.
Poulsen stated at a press conference that the delivery of the Leopard 1 tanks will commence before the summer season.
The transfer of these German tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces became feasible through a bilateral agreement between Denmark and Germany.
The agreement was signed approximately two months ago, paving the way for this significant military cooperation.
