Ukraine will be supplied with 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed this information.
As per his statement, Poland will deliver 100 armored personnel carriers in the near future and the remaining 100 at a later date.
Furthermore, Ukraine will also receive self-propelled mortars, additional missiles, and MiGs. Poland has fulfilled all the agreements regarding Leopard tanks, which have already been sent to Ukraine.
For those unfamiliar with the subject, the Rosomak is a contemporary armored personnel carrier produced at the Siemianowice-Sląsk plant since 2005. It is a licensed replica of the Finnish Patria AMV.
The APC is equipped with a powerful 30mm cannon capable of engaging ground targets and helicopters. The Rosomak comes in various versions, but it is currently unknown which version Ukraine will receive.
