According to the information portal “Tysk”, this tank belonged to the 27th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation’s Armed Forces, participating in a full-scale ωɑɾ against Ukraine as part of the Russian invasion troops. This tank was seized by the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on September 25, 2022.

The capture transpired in the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region. The circumstances of the Russian tank’s arrival in the USA remain unknown.
