A Russian T-90A tank seized by the Ukrainian Defense Forces was sighted in the United States.

The invaders lost their T-90A tank during conflicts last year.

The revealed photos depict the tank being positioned on a platform designed for transporting equipment.

According to the remarks on the image, the trophy Russian T-90A model from 2004 was photographed in the state of Louisiana in the USA.

As per the information portal “Tysk”, this tank was part of the 27th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, which participates in a full-scale war against Ukraine as a component of the Russian invasion forces.

This tank was captured by the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on September 25, 2022.

The capture took place in the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.

The circumstances of the Russian tank arriving in the USA remain unknown. This T-90A is thought to be showcased at an exhibit that will introduce to Americans the destroyed and seized military equipment that Russia employs in its war of aggression against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side conducts similar exhibitions of the destroyed invader equipment in various European nations, and now it appears that a comparable display will also be presented in the United States.

The T-90A tank is an upgrade of the Soviet-produced T-72B tanks. Its enhancements are intended to considerably improve all combat capabilities of the tank. Serial modification of the T-90 under index A was manufactured between 2004 and 2011. The tank was outfitted with a B-92S2 engine with 1000 hp capacity, an enhanced welded turret of increased stability instead of a cast one, and a 2A46M-5 gun.
