Elevate Your Simulation Experience: F-15E Strike Eagle Trainer from Vrgineers and Razbam Simulations Launches in 2023

In the wake of extended collaboration between Vrgineers and Razbam Simulations, the latest F-15E Strike Eagle simulator will make its debut at the IT2EC exhibition in Rotterdam. The firms aim to supply cost-effective, adaptable COTS simulators to the U.S. Air Force, merging the Vrgineers’ Mobile Trainer and XTAL 3 Virtual Headset with Razbam’s F-15E Strike Eagle design. The F-15E Strike Eagle design was launched earlier this year and is accessible to all users of Digital Combat Simulator at home. This unique setup permits Air Forces to conduct cooperation drills and mission practice utilizing the most cutting-edge and economical solution currently available in the market.

Mobile Trainers are simple to set up and convenient to transport (by two individuals). The apparatus provides the utmost immersion due to the application of XTAL, a 180-degree field of view, and a 4k resolution headset. Rising demand for pilots, endorsement of virtual pilot instruction for aviation safety assurance, and the necessity to cut down pilot training costs are the primary reasons for the swift increase in the use of these COTS simulators as part of expanding Pilot Next, RVCT, and other progressive training programs.

“The amalgamation we executed with Vrgineers simulators allows all features of our design to become a supreme training solution and offers an economical solution to all F-15E air forces and operators,” asserts Ronald Zambrano, CEO & founder of Razbam Simulations.

“The precision of the RAZBAM F-15E Strike Eagle is astonishing. The detail level of the cockpit and the range of functions available in combination with our trainers permits virtually anyone to become an adept F-15 pilot. We project that by 2030 every pilot will have one of these trainers readily available and can utilize it from home,” states Marek Polcak, CEO & co-founder of Vrgineers.

The remaining instrumental panel and cockpit are virtual. All switch and knob manipulation is handled by hand tracking of the trackball, granting a pilot full capability access. The present platform is not suitable for procedural training due to the absence of required features for muscle memory training. Nevertheless, Vrgineers is progressing on a mixed-reality version of the F-15E trainer, slated for its initial presentation at the I/ITSEC in Orlando this year. The mixed reality setup will provide full 1:1 training. In addition to all mentioned, the F-15E model integrates a new TALON AI, a co-pilot AI that handles tactical tasks such as target locking and navigation.

Vrgineers is a pioneer in developing immersive technologies aimed at training professional fighter jet and helicopter pilots. The company designs and produces its XTAL headset for virtual and mixed reality. The firm’s product range also encompasses flight simulators – the Classroom, Portable, and Custom Trainer. The XTAL headset is developed with the priorities of professional pilots and instructors from the global aviation community to meet the most stringent requirements for realistic simulation. The company accomplished this through the unique blend of a wide field of view and high image quality that XTAL provides. Vrgineers simulators constitute the foundation of a contemporary synthetic training platform.
