Spain is making preparations to transfer its Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine.
Here’s What We Know: According to the Spanish Defence Minister, as reported by the El Pais publication, a total of 6 combat vehicles will be involved in this transfer. Additionally, Spain will send 20 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, although the specific type is not yet known.
The delivery of these weapons is expected to continue until the end of April. It is worth mentioning that Spain is currently in the process of repairing four Leopard 2A4 tanks, which will be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at a later time.
Flashback: Ukraine has already received 35 Leopard 2 tanks of different variants from its partners.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have 14 British Challenger 2 tanks and 14 French AMX-10RC wheeled tanks in their arsenal.
