How Elbit Systems’ New $100 Million Contract is Revolutionizing Aircraft Intelligence and EW Capabilities

Elbit Systems Ltd. has announced that it has secured a subsequent contract valued at roughly $100 million to transform civil planes into EW and Intelligence planes for an overseas client. The duration of the contract will be three years.

This remedy will deliver a thorough understanding of the domain established by SIGINT and Electro-Optics VISINT detectors and technologies, as well as the capacity to initiate Electronic Counter Measures against a range of risks. As per the terms of the contract, Elbit Systems will equip the planes with sophisticated Intelligence Mission Suite and EW capabilities. In addition, the planes will be fitted with Immune Satellite Navigation Systems (ISNS) and an advanced self-protection resolution.

With the use of electronic ωarfare systems, targeted electronic attacks can be launched to disrupt and block a wide range of communication and radar threats, and enable the aircraft SIGINT operator’s full spectrum control.

This airborne ISR and EW solution is applicable to today’s defense needs and intended to be “future ready” and flexible to the rapidly evolving operational demands of customers.
